exploring the art and science of happiness
About Me
Welcome to my page!
I approach therapy as both an art and a science. Guided by solid empirical evidence and ongoing learning, I tailor a therapeutic process that fosters careful reflection as well as imagination, experimentation, and creative problem-solving. My background in theatre and the creative community gives me a deep respect for process, vulnerability, and the magic that happens when we truly show up. While the work can be deep, I also believe in joy, growth, and possibility. I’m trauma-informed and have training as ADHD-CSP and a nutrition coach and we’ll work together with whatever helps you access all that drives you to build a meaningful life.
I primarily work using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) through the lens of attachment theory to help you understand the roots of your symptoms, build skills, shift unhelpful patterns, and ultimately move forward. In addition, I integrate experiential techniques such as psychodrama, expressive arts, and narrative work, along with cognitive-behavioural approaches like CBT and DBT.
Whether you’re navigating neurodivergence, trauma, burnout, life transitions, or questions of purpose, I aim to create a space where you feel both seen and supported. My hope is that - even in the face of challenge - therapy helps you reclaim your voice, rediscover your creativity, and craft a life that feels true to you.
